RICARDO LAHAM

Born in Buenos Aires in 1940. Between 1955 and 1959 studied with Emilio Pettoruti. From 1963 to 1965 he lived in Paris, where he continued his studies. In many trips through the different European countries he acquired the necessary knowledge for his future professional development.

In 1968 he travelled through Bolivia and Perú. In 1969 he returned to Paris, where he lived until 1970. He returned to Buenos Aires and continued since then his artistic and teaching activities. 

Ricardo Laham is currently the Vice-Dean of the Postgraduate School in Visual Arts "Ernesto de la Cárcova", where he is a Professor of Drawing and Painting as well. He chairs the Postgraduate Seminar entitled "Painting on new concepts of a regional esthetics".
